A Marine Corps Nutcracker and my own little "Clara"

I knew my own little 2.5 year old would only be interested in doing fancy dress holiday photos if she saw her BFFs do it first. So along with a little chocolate bribery I manged to get her in front of the camera somewhat happily for about 15 mins.  I am thrilled to share with you my own little girl in her Nutcracker inspired holiday mini session!

*Holiday Mini Sessions available now through December 23rd. 15 to 20 edited images emailed to you the day of your session. Indoor holiday set is reserved for small children only, however family photos will also be available in our courtyard, weather permitting.

Sweet Sisters: A Holiday Mini

With my brand new bamboo floors in I was pretty excited about decorating for the holidays! We completely flip-flops our room decor after re-doing the floors and so this year our Christmas tree is right in our front window and ideal for photo-ops! So I brought over my favorite little models to test run a holiday mini session set up. My theory was if I could get a 4 month old and a very energetic 2.5 year old in my set and crank out a few good photos then I would go ahead with holiday minis. I thought we ended up with a few card worthy shots, what do you think?

Fresh and Modern: Newborn August Quinn

When mom and  good friend Michelle contacted me about doing newborn photos she had just one request, something a little different. I was so excited because  I had been so hoping to try an outdoor newborn session. However I was also a bit torn because in addition to being a great mom, Michelle is also a fantastic home decorator and I dreamed of photographing a sweet newborn in her gorgeous home. So we struck a deal to try something really new, a split session. When Quinn was just a little over a week old we did a modern home session and then at 3 week old we took her out for a part two in the fresh air. Isn't this family just one of the most beautiful families you have ever seen! Congrats Doezema family on this perfect new addition!
