Grown-up Dress-up part II- "trash" the dress
When my sweet friend told me about her marriage blessing the sentence went something like this "So we are going to get our marriage blessed by a priest and I am gonna get a new dress and then we are gonna go out afterward and trash it, its gonna be awesome!" She and I have been so excited about this part of the session for months. We didn't get the gorgeous seaside sunset we had hoped for and we made it down a little later than we had planned so the tide was up to high to really get out in the cliffs but it was still so much! There is something truly liberating about taking this beautiful gown that you are suppose to be so carefully with and just throwing caution to the wind and jumping in the ocean with it. Whether its your original dress or a great thrift store find, years later or days later, heck it doesn't even have to be bridal, getting gussied up in something lovely and then going out and not worrying about how the dress looks afterward is such a fun photo session, I think every girl should do it!

A Love to be Thankful For : Jeri & Kane are married
While in other parts of the country people were donning their festive sweaters and snuggling by a cozy fire before the big turkey feast, in true SOCAL style these lovebirds headed to the beach! Small and simple this wedding was just a perfect example of the truth: all you really need is love. Congratulations Jeri & Kane!
